Have you enabled "Unknown Sources" in Oculus -> Settings -> General on the screen oculus page?

Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment.

Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above.

Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.

Yes unkonwn sources is on in oculus settings page. When I start DCS Steam VR start even though I don't have steam running nor do I have DCS installed on steam, the I just see the white screen with the grid on the floor and the picture of the black receiver in front of me.

DCS can take some time to load (seemingly longer now that I upgraded to 1080ti) how long have you waited for DCS to load?

Wait a minute are you running DCS stand alone i.e. not a steam version?

I think I would go where FragBum is thinking. Steam VR has nothing to do with 2.5 stand alone version. To start it on the stand alone installation, just start oculus, Start DCS and make sure use headset is checked in vr tab of options. (Simplified, but it should get you in the ballpark).

Sorry friend, welcome to the club of people who with version 2.5 have no image in virtual reality hnd (htc vive in my case), only image in the monitor pc.

I have open ticket in ed support and they tell me to look for my life, what lack of professionalism!

Check these post that I leave here, the companions have kindly offered help, God bless yours.

It took 72 hours since I installed the 2.5 trying to do everything and nothing works.

Tonight when I return to my home, I will try the indications of the last hours of our dear forum users.

Good luck and if you get it, please write me telling me the solution.

Thanks to all for the help here's some more details but still no luck

- uninstalled steam vr but like the other guy says above nothing getting sent to rift so cant use vr

- waited 20 minutes still nothing

- tried another game with rift and it works fine

- it worked in openalpha2 without issue but no go in the new version

- tried full screen, 1 screen, 3 screens, check the enable vr box uncheck check.

Predator no luck with any of the other tips from the forums you posted above.

Got it working

Finally got this working with rift VR. Uninstall Rift, reinstall, a new version of rift was installed, when starting DCS the new version told me it was not DCS was not authorized to run or something like that, even though I had Unknown Sources turned in the prior version I was running. Turned it on in the new version and DCS is now working.

If you were block oculus through your host file or advanced firewall rules, unblock to get the update. Might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling as well, it would appear whatever my prior version was it was not utilizing unknown sources correctly.

I use SkateZilla Updater Tool, it does allow you to start VR-ON or VR-OFF, update, repair, clean...

A true must have for DCS Pilots.

It's here in the forum, somewhere...
