hreich Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 I am using real comms in game options....how can i contact ship and request landing? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Pilot from Croatia
NeilWillis Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Right now you can't as there isn't a way to allocate a frequency. It is a feature yet to be added to the Tarawa.

Zarma Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Contacting Tarawa only working with easy communication right now. i9 9900k, 64 Go RAM, RTX 4090, Warthog HOTAS Throttle & Stick, Virpil AH64 collective, TPR rudder, MFD Cougar, Trackir 5 Pro, Multipurpose UFC, Alain Dufour's TEDAC and Oculus Rift S (when I want some VR), http://www.twitch.tv/zarma4074 / https://www.youtube.com/user/Zarma4074
AG-51_Razor Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 As I understand it, it is the Harrier that is only working with easy communications. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Zarma Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 No the harrier works with presets on comm1. But in ME you have to set the channels on comm2. i9 9900k, 64 Go RAM, RTX 4090, Warthog HOTAS Throttle & Stick, Virpil AH64 collective, TPR rudder, MFD Cougar, Trackir 5 Pro, Multipurpose UFC, Alain Dufour's TEDAC and Oculus Rift S (when I want some VR), http://www.twitch.tv/zarma4074 / https://www.youtube.com/user/Zarma4074

Fisherman82 Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Is there a difference between Comm 1 and Comm 2? I havent been able to contact anyone on comm 2, does it only work for certain intervals of frequencies? Skickat från min D5503 via Tapatalk
lemoen Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 You can set the Harrier's preset Comm1 and Comm2 freqs in the mission planner, set one of them to be the same as the Ship / Tanker / Airfield. OR Use easy comms.
Ratcatcher Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 (edited) As it stands at the moment the coms are reversed between the aircraft and the Mission Editor. So if you want to assign a frequency in the ME for say the tanker. Give it freq 251. You have to assign this to the first entry under Com2 in the ME. This will appear in the aircraft under the Com1 setting. Likewise for airports, you need to assign the airport you wish to contact in the ME under Com2, this will then appear in the aircraft under Com1 settings. As far as I'm aware Com2 is not functional at all (in the aircraft) Edited February 10, 2018 by Ratcatcher Techlabs Chameleon Watercooled Gaming PC - Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4.7GHz : Samsung 950 Pro 256GB SSD, Samsung 500 gig SSD, Seagate 1TB 7200RPM Drive : MSI GeForce GTX 1080 "Founders Edition" 8192MB : 800W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply : 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz : Occulus Rift S : TM Warthog : MFG Crosswind V2 : Win 10 64.
