... there is a flashlight you can map ... look or search for Torch maybe in your controls.

 

Unfortunately, i do find the flashlight very very dim

there are issues with the lighting in the cockpit, best option is to try and use the NVGs and use the zoom to see stuff as they are not very effective either

This is with Reffered Shaders ON. Turn it off and the flashlight, landing/taxilight, Laserbeam and FLIR will work as intented. This is a known bug.

Until the release of 2.5 I had it off because of all those bugs. But the new Caucasus is ugly without Deferred Shading. Hope they will finally fix those lights problems.
