UNIT YEAR - added to mission editor

For those of us who have limited knowledge of when all the various units (land, air and sea) in DCS became operational, it would be great to have the year when each unit entered service included in the unit name, or added as an extra menu item in the Mission editor.

Also, to take this one step further, it would be great to have a filter included in the editor which could be used to specify a cut off date, after which no units would show for users to place.

For me at least, this would significantly improve work flow in mission making as well as reduce the likelihood of me placing a modern ship or something in an older historical scenario by accident/ ignorance.

Just had a play with that. Definitely useful. Some findings:

- The granularity appears to be at year, not month and year. So for example, if you limit to 1943, regardless of month, there's no K4, D9 or A8. I did think that the A8 was available in 43'. Switch to Jan 44, and the D9, A9 and K4 are all available, and with MW50. To my knowledge, MW50 wasn't available until mid-44.

- The year is also used for specific blocks of the jet fighters. So for example, the F18c is available from 1998.

- The filter can happily be turned on and off whilst creating a mission. So for example, you could unfilter, drop an F18c into a mission, then enable a filter on 1982 to limit weapons.

- The filter doesn't appear to restrict weapons in warehouses. Can anyone confirm that?

So overall, definitely a good thing, but needs to be used with some knowledge of the aircraft period.
