DCS 2.5: No Explosion Effects

Whenever I shoot something down, shoot some rockets at something or crash I see absolutely no explosions. There is the explosion sound effect, but no explosion. Only the sound and some fire. I've had this issue since updating from 1.5.7 onwards.

 

I am running DCS on steam, and my computer specs are as follows:

Motherboard: MSI Krait Gaming Z270.

CPU: Intel Core i3 7100 [Dual Core, Quad Hyperthreads, 3.91GHz].

RAM: 8GB [2x4] HyperX Fury DDR4 2400MHz running in XMP.

GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1060 WF2 3GB.

Storage: Drevo X1 60GB SSD [OS] + WD Blue 1TB HDD [DCS Location].

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Switch deferred shading on in the options menu.
