HoYa Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 The f15 radar scans left to right on four different quadrants. When I switch to TWS mode, it limits the scan to two quadrants, no problem here. However, when I switch it back to STT, it keeps tracking only two quadrants. In other words; When I turn in the radar I the carrot at the bottom scans all four squares, but once I switch to TWS I am limited to scanning two squares regardless if I turn it off/on or switch from SST it TWS mode. How do I get back to scanning all four squares? Thanks to all who reply.
Sryan Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 The function is called "predicted target range increase" and its keyboard combination is RCTRL = Check my F-15C guide
GGTharos Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 It scans one and a half-quadrant ... (120 degrees ) :D ... ok I just wanted to have some fun. RWS will scan the full azimuth (120 degrees), TWS is limited to 60 degrees in-game. To scan full AZ you must return to RWS, and if you're still in 60 deg AZ you would use the AZ narrow/wide keys. draconus Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 What keys are the narrow/wide keys ? The keys are RCTRL + "=" and "-" but something tells me it's the "2" key you need to just go back to RWS/LRS. sslechta Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Hey HoYa, a lot of these settings you can find in the Options menu of the game. I attached a couple that are relevant to this thread. In the past I simply took screenshots of all of those settings and used that as a controls manual of sorts.
