bigukfan Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 When looking at YouTube videos for AV-8B missions I notice the view seems to change easily and I am not sure how this is achieved. For example, moving the view to the right (as opposed to simply looking right) and zooming in and out. Does anyone know how this is achieved? I have just ordered a HOTAS stick and throttle (for the A10 Warthog) so is this view functionality something that can be achieved via the HOTAS button mapping or is other software required? Thanks for your advice. The AV-8B is the business, fantastic aircraft to fly by the way. :)
razo+r Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 It is usually achieved with TrackIR or maybe even VR. Zoom then would be on one of the buttons on the joystick. If you don't have TrackIR, you can also simply map the head control buttons on a POV-hat on your joystick.
thrustvector Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 as razo says, try delanclip, you get a whole package for like 30 quid, its really good, you wont be able to fly without afterwards, then get opentack instead of tracknoir also free
NeMoGas Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 You can also double click middle mouse to do that. Or use right ctrl right shift and the number pad.
