Is it weird that I don't see heat blur even when my engines are running max thrust? I'm on a GTX 1070 right now, but I remember seeing the same thing on the Radeon 6750 and GTX 1050 I used to have before this. I thought that in 2.5 the heat blur might be more visible, but I still don't see anything. So far I've only tried heat blur with the A-10C.

I think there's no heatblur effect in the A-10C.

Heat blur is only visible at slow speeds. Try it on the ramp.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

Works for me. Like sobek said, low speeds and don't put your throttle to idle.
