bolek Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Is there any public information available about the usage/operation of the RL Hornet radar? I am asking about A-A modes only, like RWS/TWS/STT etc.? The NATOPS manuals that are posted here seem to have this section missing and listed as classified. But somehow this will be implemented so some information must be available? If not, how relevant to F/A-18C (lot 20) would the similar info from F-16 MLU be (since it seems publicly available)? Is it similar or not at all? Thanks
feefifofum Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 My guess (and it is definitely only a guess) is that you might find more relevant data on the AN/APG-63 in the F-15 non-nuclear weapons delivery manual. The AN/APG-65 principles of operation (maintenance manual). (early lot F/A-18C) While still not the golden egg, much closer than the AN/APG-63 manual.
