DCS Model Viewer Tutorial Needed

I have a shortcut to my desktop, and was able to view one model, but that was after a couple weeks of trying and cannot recall how I made it work.

I’ve seen that, but it wasn’t useful to me. I need complete sentences with good descriptions.

Launch ModelViewer,

Choose Folder Browser Dialog.

 

Most Core Models are in /Bazar/World/Shapes.

 

The rest are in /CoreMods/<Category>/<module>/Shapes/ or /Mods/<Category>/<module>/Shapes/

This is all I get when opening model viewer. This location was:

CoreMods\Aircraft\L-39\Shapes\L-39_C.EDM

 

Nothing shows. When I went to the other location the post above I got the F18 with MISSING TEXTURE written all over it. Why does nothing show up?
