Hey there folks,

So, the runway and airfield lighting has gotten very dim of late.. The night environment itself is amazing now and I'm very thankful for that. Which makes me want to fly more at night.. However, the airfield lights do several things that really prevent this at least from a visual standpoint.

First of all they're extremely dim compared to how they should be. This is on NTTR as well although its better there.

Secondly they disappear when your more than a few miles outside of the airfield.

I didn't see any threads on this so I figured I'd start one.

I can post screenshots if needed but really the only way I've found to fly at night and do visual approaches is to fly during a full moon and pick up the runway lights a couple miles out and squint at them. :megalol::megalol:

The last time I flew in the Caucasus, all I had to do was call the tower for take-off and / or landing, and the approach lights and runway lights were switched on.

But I didnt check the last two weeks/updates...
