DCS takes 5 minutes to show the opening screen

windows 7 64 bit, i7 8770, 32 GB RAM, Nvidia 1080.

 

have no idea why it takes so long. it's 7-8% CPU , 190K memory, stays like that for 5-6 minutes before showing the opening screen.

 

any idea ?

 

I have no mods, only clean stable installation + modules I have bought.

Clean install or not it takes minutes to start. (4770k, 32gb, ssd, 1080ti…)

Same here, just not as long... something 60-90s of "dead DCS.exe" before it revives and finally comes up.

first time will always take longer it has to generate the shaders. After that the time will reduce, however it has to load a lot so be patient.
