I updated DCS 2.5.1 Open Beta yesterday and that went oke.

But today i ran DCS 2.5.1 Open Beta for the first time trying to install my shiny new Persian Gulf map but it's not going as planned.

 

I am getting update server timeouts?

 

Any idea what is happening?

Persian Gulf Map "Requires DCS World version 2.5.2 or above!"

 

But we don't have that version I believe?

Same. Wanted to run the update now, and get the same - Couldn't connect to server - popup.

Does anybody know anything about an announced maintenance window on the server(s)?

Hi there,

 

Exactly this problem in sunny Dubai too, hope it’s just a case of servers being busy. All I did was change stable to OB overnight then connection timed out and now couldn’t connect.

In the log-file I see this URL: srv5update.digitalcombatsimulator.com

 

This server is not responding?

 

I tested srv1 to srv7 and only srv5 in not responding!

 

Can we do something to select an other server?

The Persian Gulf arrived and is working fine. :thumbup:

 

My DCS Open Beta version now indeed is 2.5.2 :smartass:
