Graphic settings switch

I use VR as much as possible, but when a new module like F18 comes out I prefare learning the startup procedures, systems etc on my normal monitor with track IR as it is easier to read documentations, notes etc. This switching between VR and monitor settings is cumbersome.

 

I know there is a way to make a shortcut parameter that starts DCS in VR mode or normal monitor mode. But is it also possible to let a shortcut trigger different GFX settings depending on the viewing device? As I can have alot more details activated when using only my 3 monitor setup.

This tool allows you to have different options for vr and non vr, and have desktop shortcut to launch those config

I use this program provided by SkateZilla, it too is an excellent tool for starting in desktop mode versus VR mode.

+1 to SkateZilla’s program. I recommend it for non VR users as well.

I installed DCS Configuration Manager, great for importing HOTAS mapping from other versions of DCS. Also I like that I can have 2 separate default settings in options, 1 for VR the other for multi-monitors.
