Knock-Knock Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 (edited) I was going head to head with a tanker (KC130), and had it locked up. It passed some 6k ft above me, and I half looped up and got in behind. During that process the radar lost lock, as expected. Then, maybe 30s to 1 minute later, me just flying very close formation with tanker, radar suddenly reacquired lock. I did not press anything, was just flying along. I havent tried to reproduce, didnt have time. Just figured Id post it, in case others encounter this too. Ill try if I can reproduce during today. This was Caucasus, MP, me being host. PE_Tigar Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Confirm. Also, radar works on the ground - I'd expect WoW sensor would prevent that, but maybe I'm wrong.
QuiGon Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 I can confirm both issues. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Banzaiib Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 yep, was getting fried by my friend last night. RWR was lit up and moved as he moved behind me while taxiing.
