I remember when I used to play Falcon 4 BMS, the maximum amount of internal fuel that the F-16 could land with was 4600 lbs IIRC. So pilots had to burn the extra fuel before making a landing. In some versions there was even a fuel dumping option but in BMS it wasn't included I think because in real life it doesn't happen (I may be wrong).

Anyway,

1. Is there any limit to the landing weight of the Sabre Jet?

2. I landed sometimes with my external fuel tanks still attached but usually they touch the runway slightly but the plane remains intact. Has anyone tried a successful landing with external fuel tanks on?

In the ME the max is listed @ 20611 lbs

The heaviest loadout I can find for it is 19678 lbs with 4 bags and 2 heaters.

It lands fine at that weight. You know your heavy but it's very doable.

Check the T.O, the DCS: F-86F Manual doesn't seem to mention maximum landing weight. I don't have the F-86's manual here so I can't do that for you.

But the Max takeoff weight is 20,611 lbs (9,348 kg) as Paganus said above. I think as long as you keep it below that, it shouldn't be a problem.

Hello,

The manual of the real F-86F-30 states:

I've never had this happen to me .. perhaps are you flaring too much on landing and striking the runway with the tail?

I do follow this chart, for determining the correct landing speed based on the weight of the aircraft:
