How is performance of this module with Hormuz map.

Don't have it yet. Planning on to getting it with AV-8B and PG, once out of beta. Curious about its performance with 1060, or 1070 cards with recent CPU. Though my home wkstation is Quadro equipped (P4000), the performance with DX11/12 is equivalent to GTX 1070 or 1070Ti.

At 2560X1440 I get 70-100+ fps in NTTR , and Georgia. Little less in Normandy.

I7 7700 with 1070 16Gb ram

Flying SP I get 95 fps over the desert dropping down into the 60's flying low over the cities.

If you have NTTR the performance is similar.

Not sure how useful this is, but; I get 35-50 FPS plus over the cities, which was enough for messing around with subtle control inputs and landing on rooves etc, more - say around >55 FPS whilst over the water.

 

Most settings on high, view distance extreme, shadows on low, full preload.

That's at 1080p, 1920x1080, your typical 16:9. So you'll be a-okay I reckon. It was enough for me to blat around in the AV-8B for hours at a time, being a fool.

With everyone running different settings, resolution, OS, overclocking, hardware and ideas about what late spring feels like performance is so subjective as to be meaningless. It's like asking how far to Tunbridge Wells and expecting one answer. ouPhrontis will give a small distance and I start from PNW so the distance is a third of the way around the planet.

Just one idea - landing the Harrier on the helipad of Burj Al Arab...

As a very general observation, performance in the Gulf map seems to compare favourably with the NTTR map and slightly better than Normandy. Personally I get maybe ~5% less FPS than in the Caucasus map.
