Anti-aliasing

So, I tried forcing 8x AA in the nVidia control panel (using override application setting), to see if I could reduce jaggies, and how much I'd lose of the 40fps I get, but it doesn't seem to do anything at all.

 

 

Are the in-game AA options, which kill fps, the only options that work?

FXAA, MFAA turned on in nvidia control panel works pretty good I keep AA in NCP OFf and MSAA in DCS Off

In game MSAA 2X, Nvidia CP FXAA On, and Nvidia AA set to 2X-enhance application setting works pretty good for me.

well if you use ingame MSAA 2x there is no need for the others. for me msaa 2x is enough without other AA turned on but then it kills FPS a bit..

On the topic of Nvidia AA here was written a lot and yet there occurs to poor use.

If you want to take advantage of MFAA you must at least turn on the in-game MSAA 2x, otherwise it simply cannot work.

This method is simply an extension of the basic aa and does not require any additional enhance or override in the drivers!
