fitness88 Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 (edited) Is anyone else having trouble understanding the changing dynamics of the sensor control switches? Did my reading but I'm still not clear. Sensor Control Sw. FWD Sensor Control Sw. RIGHT Sensor Control Sw. AFT Sensor Control Sw. LEFT Thank you. Edited June 15, 2018 by fitness88
Repth Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 (edited) Simply put, in A/G mode the switch selects your primary sensor on the display's. Atlfir, Radar, and others. Emmy Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 There are several key systems yet to be employed where you'll be able to do more once you throw control to a given screen or sensor. Thanks.

fitness88 Posted June 15, 2018 Author Posted June 15, 2018 I see there is another post on the subject that I'll read.
Repth Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 (edited) A/A I see happening is the A/G implemented yet? Thanks. The functionality is there as far as I have seen, but the sensor systems required are limited as they haven't been implemented yet. currently target designation on the HUD is the only one that I've noticed being available. The next time you use auto to drop bombs, use sensor select forward to make the HUD your sensor of interest and you can slew the diamond around to mark your target point using the TDC controls. Alphamale Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 (edited) It seems like the Sensor Switch is similar to setting the SOI (Sensor of Interest) as selecting a particular switch allows you to us the TDC cursor and you can tell that sensor is active by the little diamond that displays in the upper right corner of the DDIs. So, if I can't slew my TDC cursor on the Radar DDI, I quick hit the right Sensor Control switch and now the cursor will move from parked position...so basically in AG and NAV mode the Sensor Control Switch = SOI...it'd be nice if they give us a SWAP LEFT/RIGHT DDI button Edited June 15, 2018 by Alphamale
