Lt. Scribbles Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Seen this is a desert map, it would be cool to have "heat haze" or "heat blur" over the runway. Just an idea for another lifelike effect :) RIG SPECS: -Win 10 professional -i5 8600k @5.0GHz -ASUS Maximus X Code -Samsung 960 Evo 256GB M2 SSD -Samsung 970 Pro 1TB M2 SSD -32GB DDR4 RAM @3000MHz -Asus Strix 1080 Ti 11G -LG 34UM68-P Monitor Notebook: -Win10 - 2018 ASUS ROG GL703gs-E5011T (i7-8570H, 16GB DDR4, 256GB M2 SSD,GTX1070 8GB.
Lt. Scribbles Posted July 3, 2018 Author Posted July 3, 2018 (edited) Actually this can apply to other maps outside Persian Gulf aswell. For example: Edited July 3, 2018 by Lt. Texac Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 I'm not sure how this would affect performance but I'd like to see this too. - My Skins/Liveries - Improved F-16C Texture Template • Texac on YouTube •

Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 I agree but a redesigned heat blur shoud be made imho first...the actual effect is not very good. Take a look at my MODS here

iKyrThraad993i Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Heat blur and haze can probably cause a nice frame rate drop for some users that don't have strong computers since it will almost be like the Heat blur on the Engines. Personally I would not turn this on but it is a nice idea for a option to have on or off in a menu
