directorguy7
So I have not checked too much into this, but hopefully I can get a quick answer. Looking at the trailers for some of these new DCS products and the camera controls seem to have expanded (assuming these trailers were made in-engine.) Does anyone have an updated list of controls? Looks like you got crane shots, fast zooms, etc... all done smoothly (eg. acceleration and decel, stabalized/unstablized.) Any help is appreciated. Nealius
A couple very useful additions that the opening post of that particular thread doesn't mention, and which I use a lot when filming: 1. TrackIR in external views is how you get those panning "crane shots." 2. In Ctrl+F11 free camera mode, you "fly" the camera with the mouse by scrolling the mousewheel to increase/decrease speed. You can move forwards or backwards. Using this in conjunction with TrackIR external views gives you very nice panning shots. It can be hard to work with as the speed increments when you move the mouse wheel are large, odd, and inconsistent.
