Adding images to a post

When adding an image to a post on the forums, one needs to type:

 

[/img]

 

Between the ][ in the middle the url of that image is added. So obviousley the image needs to be uploaded first, for example here: https://imgur.com/upload

Now, for some reason it ain't working for me. First I included "http://" to the inserted url, then I took it away -> same result.

 

Can anyone help me out, please?

Imgur has different options when generating the image link ... use the one that says "direct link"

Sorry, don't know why you can't see it .. my imgur allows several ways to get the image link, one of those is direct link. It works for me.

I don't have an account and linking images like rudel did works for me too.

Can you please make a screen shot of what you see on the imgur page including that option?

press "new post"

 

browse and add the picture

 

on the top right of the image, press the down arrow

 

then click on "get share links"

 

and then select the "BBCode (Forums)" option

 

copy the link in here
