Nealius Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Currently the only way to select units in the Mission Planner is by clicking on the icon. The problem is, when units are set to takeoff from runway they are stacked directly on top of each other. On carriers they are additionally stacked on top of the carrier icon as well. This means that, to edit payload or get information for a particular unit, you have to click the same icons multiple times. If you accidentally click too many times and miss your unit, you have to repeat the cycle. It would be nice if there was a unit's list, like in the Mission Editor, where you could simply call up a list of units and select your unit from the list with two clicks instead of 4 or 5 clicks, or more depending on how many units are stacked.
BaD CrC Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 I think you can also select the unit you want by clicking on it in the table listing them. You have to know its name though. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
Nealius Posted August 22, 2018 Author Posted August 22, 2018 (edited) The table only exists in the Mission Editor, not the Mission Planner. The only tools available in Mission Planner are' -Breifing -Map options -Ruler -Map/Sat/Alt views -Show models Edited August 22, 2018 by Nealius
twistking Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 The table only exists in the Mission Editor, not the Mission Planner. [...] We would need a more sophisticated mission planner alltogether, i think... My improved* wishlist after a decade with DCS *now with 17% more wishes compared to the original
