One of our IAF F-15 pilot managed to take a few shots of this

amazing sand storm that took place a couple of weeks ago.

the top of the storm was 8000 ft. high, and it moved at 60 kmh.

on the final picture you can observe when the storm hits an israeli

air base, enjoy:

Fantastic. I've been aviation meteorologist myself, but had naver a chance to experience that and send METAR with SS code. It's just very unusual to have sandstorm in this part of world :smilewink:
