6Gun Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 Ive been playing a lot on the Caucus map and im just wondering if the F14 will fit in the hangers of the different airfields like Sochi? Its a pretty big plane compared to some of the other modules we have. Knock-Knock Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 With the wings folded, surely, cause a Flanker fits in there, and its longer and wider (compared to folded wings). - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |

Flamin_Squirrel Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 The F-14 wings can over sweep too, so can fold even more than that :joystick:

Dingo_Bob Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) The F-14 wings can over sweep too, so can fold even more than that :joystick: Was about to say exactly that, the wing sweep can be manually overridden when on the ground to 75 degrees for parking / storage, it's "only" 33 feet wide in oversweep Edited September 10, 2018 by Dingo_Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Modules are like Pokemon you gotta catch 'em all :joystick::lol::pilotfly: AMD Ryzen7 3700x, G-Skills 32Gb RAM @ 3200Mhz, MSI GTX1080Ti, TM Warthog (20cm extension by Sahaj), MFG Crosswind Pedals, Oculus Rift, Track Ir5
Banzaiib Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 When I was a kid, I lived near Oceana Naval Air Station, and I distinctly remember thinking to myself at the age of 12, "It's a lot smaller than I thought", when I first saw a parked, F-14 at an airshow. I grew up watching TOP GUN (I know every line), and I guess this is why they say you shouldn't meet your heros... :) She's actually smaller than an F-15 (length and wingspan (folded))
