TAW_Impalor Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 (edited) I had a few months old 2.5 Open Beta that worked fine and which I carefully avoided to update. Today something was not right and I decided to do a repair. Well, that did the update and made my game completely unplayable: 1) Now it insists using My Games/DCS rather than DCS.openbeta folder. Fine, I copied over my stuff 2) Next, all my modules are gone on main screen and in the missions, BUT they still look as installed in the module manager! 3) The great VR Shaders mode no longer seems compatible. Any way to avoid the pain of full reinstall? Edited September 25, 2018 by impalor 12900KF@5.4, 32GB DDR4@4000cl14g1, 4090, M.2, W10 Pro, Warthog HOTAS, ButtKicker, Reverb G2/OpenXR

TAW_Impalor Posted October 3, 2018 Author Posted October 3, 2018 Thanks for the reply, but how? And how to find out what build I had? 12900KF@5.4, 32GB DDR4@4000cl14g1, 4090, M.2, W10 Pro, Warthog HOTAS, ButtKicker, Reverb G2/OpenXR
Svsmokey Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 I recommend Skatezilla's GUI mod for all DCS maintenance . It lets you do anything you need with the click of a mouse . You can find it with a search in the mods forum . As to what build you had , i have no idea :( 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2
prccowboy Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 how to find out what build I had? check the autoupdate_log files in the DCS World folder. It should show what build you started with before the update/repair/etc.
