CypherS Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Is the emergency countermeasures button on the left wall supposed to not do anything unless a countermeasures program is selected? Right now if you have the CM suite on with no program selected it does nothing.. Is this normal behaviour or is this a bug?
Tholozor Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Is your Master Arm on? REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
Pandemic Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Pretty sure that button only works if the ALE-47 is in override.
CypherS Posted October 5, 2018 Author Posted October 5, 2018 yes but I also think that should not matter
rassy7 Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 (edited) One of the mapable CM buttons always uses program 5. When you get airborne, program that as your emergency CM. I usually set program 1 for a mission-specific profile based on the briefing (i.e., expected surface-to-air threat types). As mentioned before, make sure Master Arm is on, the and the mode is set to manual. That button should run countermeasures program 6 (only editable in the .lua file) However by the virtue of being an emergency button it should not wait for a program to be selected for it to function. Master arm should be enough
