HELP!

Okay i just bought a new pc with XP. I have installed all my games apart from FSX because wehen i insert it into the DVD-drive, nothing happens. It doesnt even show that there is a disk in the drive on My Computer. So what did i think about it? Well I thought disk 1 is faulty because the second disk works on the new pc. However i inserted the disk into my old pc and it started to run.

I am very confused!

PLEASE HELP!

Thanks,

Jonny

The disk may still be faulty. Maybe you have a better DVD unit in your old PC that makes better error corrections. Try switching the two units between the two PCs.

I have two DVD units in my PC for this very reason - my main (and far newer and faster) DVD drive won't even spin up anything protected by securom.. so I have to keep the old drive in just for them!

Lt. Commander Block: Every aerial photo and recon report indicate a defensive arsenal in the D, and perhaps negative C, categories. There's also some anti-aircraft squadrons.

Admiral Benson: I don't have a clue what you're talkin' about, Phil. Not a clue. I have a shell the size of a fist in my head. Pork Chop Hill. The only way I can make this toupee to stay on is by magnetizing the entire upper left quadrant of my skull, so you just go ahead and do what you do.

This happened to me with my Vista installation DVD. I have two DVD drives, one read only and the other RW. The disc wasn't recognized by the read only drive but worked fine on the RW. Not sure what it was but there is disc compatibility issue. Maybe try disabling the autorun.
