Emergency Carrier Landing Procedure

What are the protocols for landing a damaged Hornet onto the carrier? I have seen in videos how they raise up the safety net (which would be awesome if it was modelled in DCS someday?) But what is the general protocol? Do you just perform a CASE-3 recovery with the net up? Or is there something more specific?

The net you're speaking of is simply called a barrier, as far as procedures I don't know of anything specific, however I'd imagine its as simple as get the jet and pilot on deck in whatever means necessary.
