EcceHomo Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 (edited) In the game, MK-82YT uses BSU-49, but in reality it uses BSU-86/B. In the game, mk-82 uses BSU-86/B for Snake Eye, while in reality it should be MK-15. Edited November 9, 2018 by EcceHomo
Nealius Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 (edited) I think you've got it backwards. The Navy uses the BSU-86, which we "don't have" in-game. We have the Mk15. The BSU-49 is for the ballute, but again the Navy doesn't appear to use the BSU-49. They use the BSU-85, which we don't have in the game. The Mk82/BSU-86 actually already exists in DCS. You can find it through the model viewer. We also have the Navy-style thermal-treated roughmaps in both green and gray colors for the bombs, but for whatever reason, we can't actually use them yet. Well, we can use the textures and roughmaps with some file name changes, but we can't use the BSU-86 yet. I wonder if they're planned features that just haven't been implemented yet? This is my mistake, identifying the mk-15 error as BSU-86. But the Air Force's BSU-49 should not appear on the MK-82YT. The MK-82YT should be the BSU-86.
Nealius Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Gotcha. Yeah, it seems both the retarded bombs we get are USAF instead of USN.
