sirrah Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Got my new AV8B toy yesterday and I'm still at the lower end of the learning curve. Unfortunately we don't have all training missions yet, so at the moment I'm struggling to get some LGB's on my target. I did a search but didn't find an answer to this specific problem I'm having. Maybe anyone here can help me. I have the aircraft loaded with a few GBU-12's and the targeting pod. This is what I do (sorry if I don't use the correct abbreviations, still learning): Master arm on Select A/G mode Select stores and select bombs (12) Make sure fuse is set on "nose" Select DMT on right mfd Select "code" Set and enter laser to 1688 on the ufc Select TPOD on right mfd (and wait for it to power up) Depress the TDC slew button on my HOTAS when pointed in general direction of the target area Slew to my target and leave it there Set TPOD from TRNL to LASER Set SAFE to ARMED So far so good.. Flying towards my target in a straight line and I see the counter counting down. When the counter reaches below 10 I press the pickle button. The second I press the pickle button (counter at ±7) I immediately get 4 dashes on my HUD, but no bombs are being dropped. I tried keeping the pickle button pressed while the dashes are showing, I tried pressing the pickle button later (counter below 5 and vertical bar already dropping down on the HUD), but still no bombs are released. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
