Can the pilot choose to have Baro or Radar Altitude displayed in the HUD or does it work like Lock On that as soon as you go through 1500m the HUD altitude display automatically changes to Radar altitude ? A second question ref the VPI. Is it possible to have say Radar attack symbolgy on the VPI with Nav symbology on the HUD. By your previous comments i think may be not and that the VPI is a straight HUD repeater. FOR 1.13PATCH At present in the FC SU27/MIG29 the Aircraft symbol and horizon line are displayed on the HUD in Air to Air modes once in STT but in search they are removed. As Geier has shown they should be present in both Search and STT. It seems to me as the radar type is simillar the manual for it should be the same I cant find one either but if anyone has one please drop me a link, the MLU 1&2 PDF tapes for the viper was a good read thanks whoever posted the link.
