I can't see anything to be connected to that 6 pin round port for now. Can we use it for some DIY peripherals? (adding custom axis and buttons)

This is for connect other VKB device - to be developed, I guess, e.g. their TECS throttle.

You can't plug pot and switches there, VKB bus code is proprietary, not an analog or serial (Shift Register) code.

I would hope they would have a separate connector for the Throttle, if they utilized plugging it into the Black Box, would the limitation of axis and buttons come into play?

That will be used to link multiple blackbox units together. The throttle unit will have multiple extensions so that these units will be linked and connected to one single USB port on the PC.

These ports are definitely not to be used with other 3rd party boards.

TECS is an standalone controller, but VKB bus (in theory) allow plug then and stick, pedal in one Black Box. An optional feature.

In the past this was used in Mambas allowing plug in their base Logitech G-940 throttle.
