Ski01 Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 I'm calling inbound and getting clearance on the right frequency.... Was working for me last month doing Case II........... Have I forgotten a part of the procedure?
DeathAngel1 Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 No, you dont forgotten anything. Same issue here. And even on CASE 3 Stennis dont turn on the lights. I think its new OB bug. ..:NAVY PILOTS ARE THE THE BEST PILOTS:..
bilberryhawk Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Same for me, tried multiple times, without success.
Ski01 Posted December 23, 2018 Author Posted December 23, 2018 think the release notes mentioned they had tweaked ATC logic. I notice with Stennis I can get the approach call but I don't get a tower handoff - and if I recall it is the tower handoff that activated the lights....
RAF_JAGUAR Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 think the release notes mentioned they had tweaked ATC logic. I notice with Stennis I can get the approach call but I don't get a tower handoff - and if I recall it is the tower handoff that activated the lights.... Well it looks like they sacked the Tower Controller or he is asleep. How much longer, Ops? The engine’s overheating and so am I. We either stand down or blow up. Which do you want? :pilotfly::pilotfly::pilotfly:
Furia Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 On the release version works Ok. We have flown a multiplayer CASE III session last week with serveral pilots and the Stennis ATC answered the calls and lighted the runway. Are you talking about the Open beta? Silversmith Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 I find it does light on a REQUEST LANDING call , only stays on for a couple of minutes though. So could be lighting, then off again if an INBOUND call is issued more than a couple of minutes from the carrier.
Frederf Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 Latest OB doesn't progress to the stage where ATC clears for final approach. This is the stage that additional lighting is enabled on the carrier and that you're allowed to ask for landing. No stage progression, no lighting.
