I notice with Stennis I can get the approach call but I don't get a tower handoff - and if I recall it is the tower handoff that activated the lights.... We have flown a multiplayer CASE III session last week with serveral pilots and the Stennis ATC answered the calls and lighted the runway. Are you talking about the Open beta? Silversmith Posted January 1, 2019 Share Posted January 1, 2019 I find it does light on a REQUEST LANDING call , only stays on for a couple of minutes though. This is the stage that additional lighting is enabled on the carrier and that you're allowed to ask for landing. No stage progression, no lighting.
