BlueJacketWarrior Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Hello, I have been flying my Hornet for about a week now and I still have yet to figure out how to pull on things like my parking brake or wingfold. What do I have to do to actually grab and pull on a control? I use an ACER VR rig with SteamVR. Any help would be apricated.
Svsmokey Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 (edited) Some functions in the Hornet , including those you mention , require a mouse with a scroll wheel . The scroll also works better for rotaries . Thick8 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I have a multi-gesture touchpad. So a three finger drag down is out and drag up is in. aniron Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 I think the small joysticks on the Touch controllers work for rotating things. They do. You can also rotate your wrist palm up to access what would normally be a right click. The "laser" changes color to let you know you are in the right position.
milkojohns Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 i assign mouse buttons to the HOTAS so no need to reach for mouse etc
