SuperKungFu Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 very nice, i would love to bomb that army base. btw, have you considered adding the birds or high cirrus clouds as stated in the previous thread. If you don't, then its fine, it was worth getting the idea out there. 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Brit_Radar_Dude Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 New gate guardian!! Top class Birdy, nicely done..... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum....
VMFA117_Poko Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Looks wonderful. Birdy, will this mod also include more trees around airbases? Oh, 666th_birdy should join to ED Testers Team IMHO. He's very active modder too. I can't imagine to play LockOn without his tuned scenery files.
SuperKungFu Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Yea i agree with Poko, birdy needs to be on the ED tester team. They already stated that BS will feature some new terrain and have some improvements to the original terrain, they should make birdy part of the team since he's really familar in this area. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vekkinho Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Now wait a minute, the last scenery I got from www.666th.co.uk was a Hi Scenery Beta v1.2. This one is 1.13, so I'm kinda confused which one comes first?! However, one again nice work Birdy. ED should really consider sharing some Tester / Partner tags... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SuperKungFu Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 This would be the latest one in the works, for whatever reason, its named 1.13 instead of 1.3 to follow up on the previous 1.2. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Oops, I stand corrected. it's v1.3 @skf: Clouds and birds will not be inthe scenery (do like that work though) @poko24: v1.3 will have the same trees as previous versions. I do plan to change some to make it look even better but you probably won't notice unless I tell you what the changes are. PS:love to be on the ED tester team but no one asked so far. Saw some nice tree formations (google earth) around the new basis in Georgia so I've got some work to do there) Holliday homes some 5km north of Krymsk AB (MiG29s can be seen on finals): Extra oilrig near Sochi: 1 DELL Inspiron 1564 / Intel Core i3 M330 @ 2.13GHz (4GB)___ATI Radeon HD4330(512Mb)___Windows7 Home Premium 64bit
VMFA117_Poko Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Dear Admins! Could You rename then title of this thread to "Preview upcoming scenery 1.3"? v1.3 will have the same trees as previous versions. I do plan to change some to make it look even better but you probably won't notice unless I tell you what the changes are. Just great! Can't wait Love to be on the ED tester team but no one asked so far. Saw some nice tree formations (google earth) around the new basis in Georgia so I've got some work to do there) Hear that ED? Birdy, I really happy to hear you working on it with google earth help. Now I am very hungry for this mod. But keep it up and take your time.
SuperKungFu Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 wow very nice, and i see you have that helo on the oil rig. btw, @birdy, you might want to get in contact with monotwix, he seems to have created lamp posts for AB in the How to build a hanger thread. It might be interesting to check that out. Also, whenever you have time, do you think its possible for you (or anyone else) to create a small tutorial on how to add static objects without replacing current object so we can add clouds or birds? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

SuperKungFu Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Yea he posted a screen in that thread, its not finished, but it looks like he's on the right track. He's also the one who created the birds so he's pretty smart at these things. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

VMFA117_Poko Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Admins! Thanks for changing title. Some of us were getting confused.
666th_birdy Posted July 30, 2007 Author Posted July 30, 2007 1) SAM manufacturing plant 7,5km east of Krymsk AB (70+ objects) 2) some railroad tracks are getting electrical power lines DELL Inspiron 1564 / Intel Core i3 M330 @ 2.13GHz (4GB)___ATI Radeon HD4330(512Mb)___Windows7 Home Premium 64bit
SuperKungFu Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 I love that SAM manufacturing plant [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vekkinho Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Sweeet Birdy, Yeah ED, think of Birdy! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SuperKungFu Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 The main reason for affiliation in the testers staff is a recommendation from testers. So if a beta-tester swing by this thread and recognize all the hard work birdy has done in the past, I'm sure they would recommend him. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vekkinho Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Make me a beta tester and I'll recomend Birdy! :music_whistling: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vekkinho Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 BTW is the newest scenery available for DL?! I still did not explore 1.2 properly so I'll have to hold my horses a bit! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
