Svsmokey Posted February 23, 2019 Share Posted February 23, 2019 I see that 2.5.4.27430 is the latest hotfix to Open Beta . It must be that PG and that campaign have not yet been checked for compatibility with that (week-ago) hotfix . Strange , but it doesn't sound like there is much you can do on your end except possibly revert to the previous version of Open Beta . It seems the hotfix was all or mostly for the C-101 , so you may be able to revert without consequence . danbrown Posted February 23, 2019 Author Share Posted February 23, 2019 Hi All - to answer the questions: I'm running the latest version of DCS (just updated a couple of days ago) and I've paid for the modules (they show up in the installer). Svsmokey, I think you are right based on the content of the error. Frustrating though, I really wanted to see Dubai and I really hope this doesn't happen when the F14 finally drops. danbrown Posted February 23, 2019 Author Share Posted February 23, 2019 Livers had it right all along, I needed to download and replace the updater executable file which was far behind for some reason: You can install modules only after updating the DCS. Latest released DCS_updater is 2.9.8.81 To solve an error you need to download the latest dcs_updater from site: http://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ unzip the file and replace dcs_updater.exe in the "bin" folder ..\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\ Then, run DCS World game and repeat the process of update. After the upgrade, you can once again start the installation process for your products.
