birdstrike Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 as of lately, we can observe in close dogfights, that other planes seem to collide with P-51s when passing them closely. it doesnt seem to be a lag-issue, as with other planes this doesnt seem to occur. it feels as if its "collision box" (i guess this doesnt exist, but just for making a picture) is bigger than the P-51. could also be that in rapid manouvers, either attitude isnt displayed correctly or incorrectly processed. all i do know is, that we have observed now plenty of times, p51s colliding mid air with other planes, while they should have passed each other.
