Back then, nobody distributed that game in my area, I wanted it so much. Had to wait for emulation ten years later to beat that game.

this actually reminds me a bit of Tomcat Alley

 

was a bit more an interactive movie than a game but I tried playing it with no idea how to evade since I never had the manual for it and could never get past the 5th engagement as a result. can watch the whole playthrough on youtube though. got a few decent clips in there. also worth watching is silent steel. though more a choose own adventure book in video form than action game. felt similar enough to mention
