Eldur Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Just had something strange, after a long time I did some A/A again since I wanted to try out the SA things (which didn't work because I didn't re-put the E-2), so I ended up in an engagement, had a good lock and wanted to fire one fox three, pressed my trigger button and what happened? Three of them came off the rails as if I fired an FC3 rocket pod that keeps firing until it's dry (like in the Su-25s). Never had that before. Later on I kept the trigger pressed extra long to see if it was related to the press length, but it just fired one AIM-9X at a time as expected. Just had one 120 left there, so I couldn't test it in that session with the same missile. The 120Cs were on those dual rail racks on the outer pylons. Bad thing is my DCS froze up upon ending the mission, so I couldn't save a track, but I'll try to reproduce that and record one. Mainly posting this now as I'm curious if this is one of the problems which just I have, as always...
Svend_Dellepude Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Might be a hardware issue or a lag/freeze of some sort in the game. Try binding the weapon trigger to another button to see if the problem persists. I had an old cougar controller that had a spikey button, but apart from that, I never had this happen, unless I accidently pulled the trigger more than once. speed-of-heat Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 I had a similar issue, whilst firing the cannon I tripped, the ammram mode select which then continued to fire the cannon even after trigger was released SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware AMD 9800X3D, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat
