IDontLikeBigbrother Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 I am running out of driver space and I found there are tons of useless livery files in the coremod folder. most of them are even larger than the plane itself! And there are liveries for the plane that I even didnt buy:like Christen Eagle2, I doubt anyone buy it:smilewink:. But the liveries for CE2 are 1.7g big! If I just delete these livery folder, will I get a crash or something bad?
some1 Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 I guess it will work, but the game will probably download them again with the next update. Safer way would be to create NTFS junction and simply move them to another drive where you have more space. ricktoberfest Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 The one problem might be is if you see that livery on multiplayer, it will have to show probably an unpainted plane Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I3570K @ 4.5Ghz, 16Gb DDR3 @ 1600, GTX770 @1080p
Wizard1393 Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 The one problem might be is if you see that livery on multiplayer, it will have to show probably an unpainted plane No, I don’t think so. I think the server tells the client to draw a plane with “af standard” and the client draws it with that livery. The client doesn’t fetch the liveries from the server. Some liveries might still be required by the game server to start for whatever reason. These are the details we need from ED. What can be removed.
