Flamin_Squirrel Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 I have a couple of questions here actually: First, when moving into oversweep, I thought the emergency lever had to be up? I can only seem to move it aft when it's down. Second, I find just as it reaches the full aft position, it jumps full forward. Anyone else get this?

The lever only moved fully aft when pushed down. Didn't get the snap to full forward though. It seemed a little finicky that lever. Nealius Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 I can't really figure out how to get oversweep. I'll put the lever all the way down, push in, the wings go back, "WING SWEEP" illuminates, but the wings don't actually go into oversweep until after I've shut down the engines.
dSAF Dancer Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 and sadly also the manual does not state anything about it. Nealius Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 Actually I figured out what I was doing wrong. In the manual, page 181-183. I wasn't moving the handle to the 68 position, and I wasn't waiting for the HZ TAIL AUTH light to extinguish. Once I did it by the book the oversweep worked fine.
Flamin_Squirrel Posted March 14, 2019 Author Posted March 14, 2019 Thanks Nealius, I'll give that a try later.
