Nealius Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I like to make my own payloads for all my modules, and with certain payloads utilizing the tunnel stations I need to know which is front-right, front-left, rear-right, rear-left, or single-rear (AIM-7). With the current 3456 notation in the payload menu I really can't tell which station is front or rear, and constantly loading up a mission to check my payloads is a time-waster.
punk Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 3 and 6 are always up front with 4 behind 3 or in the last center Sparrow position. The diagram might help visualize it better. Salute, Punk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Nealius Posted March 20, 2019 Author Posted March 20, 2019 I also found these useful diagrams (which seem to match Heatblur's numbering), but it would be nice to not have to rummage through paper notes or alt-tab out of DCS to remember out which is which.

Use it for a week and you'll probably never forget it. Because 3 and 6 never change and 4 is always the same distance aft. So the only thing you have to memorize is that 5 is the weirdo that moves. Nemonic: FIVE moves FORWARD
