Hi all,

In most of my mission, I have to place a carrier battlegroup.

I also have a few triggers to activate scripts, turning the Carrier into the wind and to have a tanker orbit the CV. And add statics units on the carrier

I have a template for the carrier. But I have to redo all the actions (TACAN,ICLS) and all triggers to activate scripts with each new mission.

Is it possible to create a "template" mission that I could copy and use to start all new missions ??

ALso did any of you had problems with statics units on the Carrier deck,; not showing for clients in MP ?

You could write a script to set the actions of the carrier... activating TACAN and such, and then just import the script into each mission.

And yes, statics appearing on a carrier seem to be hit or miss at the moment. Sometimes some do show up, other times nothing shows up.

Wayz Out

Sure, I usually edit missions on a "series" .. for example right now I'm editing a series of practice missions for the MiG-19, to help me practice flying and weapons with it.

I place all the missions of the series on a single folder, so as to keep there all the supporting files. The first mission is M00, that contains basic triggers and scenery templates. Thereafter I start the rest of the missions as copies of this "template mission" (or copies of the most similar mission of the series that is already finished).

Edit: As an example, this is the folder of my current mission series, to show all the files that are needed for editing the mission: the briefing pictures, the briefing document, scripts, etc .. their name starts with the same Mxx prefix to avoid confussion:

Not being a scripter yet, this is how I would do it. Build the foundation of your mission, then save it and use that to start building your other missions.
