Fer109 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Recently I tried to fly this plane and I discovered that now it is very hard to read the lights on the SPO-15 during most of the daylight missions. In other Russian planes (Su-27, J-11...) I didn't find this problem. Has anybody found the same problem, know how to solve it or if it is already reported? Thank you in advance for your answers. I can understand that ED must be busy fixing bugs of paid modules, but just in case they found some time to take care of this minor issue, it would be very fine.
FlankerMan Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 It's annoying, I agree, but I don't think it's a bug.
Fer109 Posted April 8, 2019 Author Posted April 8, 2019 But I remember when flying it few years ago, I didn't have such a problem with the Su-25T. I guess it is something new from a certain time till now. By the way I have a Nvidia 1080, in case it could be related with my graphic card.
Mars Exulte Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 The RWR got messed up with 2.x engine changeover. It is a bug. So is the screwed up windscreen. The MiG-29 was, too but has already been fixed. It needs a texture overhaul, just like all the other old aircraft did. Fortunately, Matt already said they're planning on redoing the 25's cockpit after the A-10 and Ka-50 cockpits are finished. They just redid the WWII aircraft, and tweaked a bunch of others, so it's not like they're not doing anything. Unfortunately, the downside to having more aircraft is when things like this require updating, it takes time to work through all of them. DWF Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 (edited) I agree, the RWR is unreadable in daylight conditions, and the glare on the windscreen is very annoying. ED, you're doing a great job, but this needs to be corrected; it's your introductory aircraft. AeriaGloria Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 That’s why it’s down by your knee:) unfortunately the fix will only be for the T model. I heard all files for the A were lost and it would have to be redone from scratch. Zeagle Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Sunlight makes reading aircraft displays, especially lit displays, difficult. They are supposed to be "sunlight readable". But I can tell you from experience that in bright sun you cannot always read lighted displays. So I do not think it's a bug. As for the reflections off the glass, I think they are very realistic and well done.
