==Wiggy== Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Is anyone willing to help me through step by step for being able to open the Tomcat .dds files in PhotoshopCC? I'm not quite sure I understand what I need to do to get this to work. I have the NVIDIA Plugin for DDS...but as I am seeing all Black textures open opening the tomcat files, I am clearly not using the correct plugin? Thanks in advance! Morpheus Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 You have to use Intel plugin https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=234889&highlight=.dds

_mu110_ Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 The intel plugin also results in much better looking skins, somehow they managed to preserve a lot more detail when exporting than the NVIDIA one. Check out my skins and mods on the User Files.
==Wiggy== Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 Is it easy to install? Or is there a dance? Cheers, Rick CSEL\CMEL\IFR Certified Airplane Nut

RaTzo Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Sadly the Intel plugin doesn't work for this version of .dds files on Mac and the Nvidia plugin isn't available for Mac. The workaround I've been using is to open the .dds in Preview and then export as a Tiff then use the Intel plugin to export my finished work as a .dds F-14B, A-10C,F-18C Lot 20, F-16C, UH-1H, SA342, Spitfire LF Mk IX, F-15C, Mig-29, Supercarrier, Nevada, Persian Gulf i9 9900k 5.0GHz, 32GB RAM, 1080Ti, Rift S, Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswind pedals, Dual Monitors 4K & 1080 Every Day, Someone Uses Cute Krispy Snacks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
