Is it possible to change between different types of kneeboards?

Types? You can switch pages with the [ and ] keys and you can include your own pages if you want.

 

Or are you referring to the pilot's 3D model?

You can do that yourself. You can create shortcuts and jump to them. Check the Kneeboard Control tab ;-)

 

How to use this?

Simple. Check your keybindings under Kneeboard.

When in the aircraft, hit the show/close Kneeboard keybind.

Kneeboard will pop up.

Use next/prev page to go to the site you want. Hit the Create Shortcut keybind.

Do that to all the pages you want a shortcut.

 

Then you can jump between the shortcuts via next/prev Shortcut or use the direct Shortcut 1, Shortcut 2 commands.

 

But the kneeboard must be filled by yourself. Either get the Checklists from NATOPS or check the DCS User files

Of course. In the end they are just pictures.

Easiest way would be Kneeboard Builder

 

Will convert any PDF or Picture in the propper format and puts it into the correct folder.

C:\Users\YourUserName\Saved Games\DCS.OpenBeta\Kneeboard\F-18c\ (or similiar, you will find it) :book:

 

There are tons of information on the forums. Just seach for kneeboard :smilewink:

or similar i.e.

 

"Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard\FA-18C_hornet"

 

Remember to use a lower type-case for the file extension .jpg, .png, etc. NOT .JPG, etc.
