With the news on ED FB of improvements of carrier catapult:

One of the many detailed aspects of the new Nimitz-class aircraft carrier being worked on is a detailed simulation of the catapult shuttle and hold back. Here we have a little preview of it some of its animations.

Our goal is to create the most realistic aircraft carrier environment ever done for a simulation for both entertainment and professional use. This not only includes the most accurate carrier model, but also the most accurate deck crew animations and communications.

Thanks!

Searching for info, that systems has called "Repeatable Release Holdback Bar", some videos show the "modus operandis" and how working with the carrier crew.

when this Nimitz DLC is completed, alongside with the Burke class and Kutznesov……...would be fantastic start testing the EMALS Catapults onboard a virtual USS Gerald R. Ford
