philstyle Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 I am unable to get any missions to end since using the dedi-server tool. I have two missions in a mission list, each mission has the following "event" which should casue the mission to end (and load the next one) after 15900 seconds (4 1/2 hours). However, the missions are not rotating, the first one just runs for ever. Any ideas people? Does the WebGUI for the dedicated server now manage this, or do we still need the in-mission timer-based events for ending a mission? wolle Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 I have tried to call attention to this problem several times before (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3845374), no answer ever, simply got ignored:( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Intel Core I7 4820K @4.3 GHz, Asus P9X79 motherboard, 16 GB RAM @ 933 MHz, NVidia GTX 1070 with 8 GB VRAM, Windows 10 Pro
71st_AH Rob Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Not working for me either, and most of the time I can't get the correct mission to load anyway.
450caveman Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I have just asked the same question another way hoping to find an answer of how to loop or turn over the mission in WED GUI ?????
ViFF Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 (edited) On the DCS ISRAEL Server I have addressed this by changing the END MISSION trigger to LOAD MISSION trigger. So the rotation is set by the miz files rather than the server GUI. I have also set that the server will start with a default mission with triggers to load from a list of available missions that can be requested to be loaded by any client via the radio menu (F10 Other). The loaded mission returns to load the default mission after timer expire or victory conditions. I have also added for each of the loadable missions the option for ending the mission, which essentialy loads back the default mission containing the mission list. Ofcourse this needs to be more finessed and managed for servers that are open to the general public, such as making these triggers available only to certain slots and using CTLD for blocking these slots for trusted clients, etc. Hope this helps... 450caveman Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 i'm with you guys, i have put this same comment in my question about WED GUI, we need action and answers. You think in this day and age we could have more support from the Admins on these types of questions i'm 63 and have been an admin on other computer programs and i would never leave people out in the cold about something like this. I have seen a number of post from people about this very subject and it has never been answered by an Admin of ED, i'm just lost for words.
